Well its only really my second ride on a full susser, but I was suprised at the difference between the two.
Big G's 5 spot was an amazingly smoth ride (well compared to what I ride a sherman is), it seemed to gobble up the bumps well & trully. The bike was not quick enough reacting for my ridin style though, even with a fairly short stem it wanted to take a wide line round every corner & more than once I found myself running too high in berms and having to slow.
The ride was set too soft for me too (Graham could hardly move my forks on my hummer) & I braked into one corner and thought the whole thing was going to wash out from under me!
I think for all day rides & bombing down hill though this bike would take a bit of beatin!

After riding Glynns bike with a 50mm stem, I have been on Chain Reaction looking for a replacement. Hopefully this will cure the understeer problem - Jack mentioned that I was working hard on the bends whilst we were on our Wales day out.

This bike is intended to give me a bit of comfort on the long days out and to make up for my lack of talent on the downhills. Like Glynn says - it does just that.

Now if only I could make it lighter...............
