I'm doing the NCRA road race on Tuesday but if I feel okay, I will have a go again.

Forgot to mention - Glynn has borrowed a road bike so if you don't fancy competing, it will worth the effort going to see how he gets on. We may also be able to get photographic evidence of his descent into the "gay" side.

Find the Beans coffee shop on the high street. From there take the road towards Glapthorn and the pool is down the end of Milton Road on the right. Go to the right of the building and there will be a pile of bikes to steal (avoid the red one - it's really slow!)
troytheboy wrote on Jun 4, '07
der I never thought to ask where the event started, did you all start in the pool at the same time?
graham2 wrote on Jun 5, '07
Yes, mass start. Also, they start you at the deep end so when you jump in expecting to bounce off the bottom hopefully you won't get the same shock that I did. I reckon it's 12ft deep!

we will see, is it like at rocko, turn up and introduce yourself and pretend your not part of a club or do you have to join the Tri gay gang???
graham2 wrote on Jun 5, '07
